Hopeless Records is an independent record label based in Van Nuys , Los Angeles , California . The label was founded in 1993 by Louis Posen and funded by a group of private investors. Although the founder of Hopeless Records mainly regarded him as a punk rock label, having a label releasing various genres of music was part of his vision.
