Biography
Born in 1530 in Navarre. After some time, he moved to Baezu and devoted the rest of his life to this city. He successfully entered and after 5 years graduated from the University of Baez. In 1575 he wrote a brilliant work, “Study of the Ability to Science,” which was translated into many languages of the world, and finally, in 1960, the work was translated into Russian and became widespread in many countries of Western Europe. He was a teacher and inspirer of the future philosophers Francis Bacon (1561-1626) and Baruch Spinoza (1632-1677) (the last philosopher studied from his materials after the death of Huarte).
He died in 1588 in Baez.
