He graduated from Kiev University in 1961, 1974 - Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the CPSU .
In 1961-1971 he worked in the State Television and Radio System of the USSR, from 1974 to 1990 - responsible officer of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Ukrainian SSR.
From 1990 to 1992 - Assistant Prime Minister of Ukraine Fokin , in 1992-1994 - Deputy Head of the Information and Analytical Service of the President of Ukraine, from April to August 1994 - Chairman of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting.
Since 1995 - advisor-assistant to the people's deputy of Ukraine Kravchuk .
