Tovstuha, Leonid Samoylovich

Born on October 17, 1930 in the village of Orlovka (now Yampolsky district (Sumy region) , Ukraine ). In 1947 he graduated from the Oryol 7-year school. In 1947-1951 he studied at the Krolevets technical school of arts and crafts. In 1951-1952 he worked as a foreman of the carpet workshop named after L. Ukrainka ( Poltava ), in 1952-1962 - as a chief, master, artist of the name named K.Tsetkin ( Reshetylivka ). Since 1962, its director. In the years 1962-1968 he studied at MIT . Solo exhibitions in the USSR and abroad.

He died on March 7, 2010 in his native village.
