Biography

Member of the RCP (b) since 1917. He was the secretary of the newspaper Pravda . In 1918, the " Left Communist ", served in the headquarters of the Eastern Front , chairman of the Revolutionary Tribunal . Since 1920, head of the department of agitation and propaganda of the Moscow City Party Committee . Since 1924, deputy head of the press department of the Central Committee of the RCP (B.) , A member of the editorial board of the magazine "Krasnaya Nov." Moreover, from 1923 at the Institute of Lenin as secretary of the institute, then a member of the Directorate, member of the editorial board of the journal “Notes of the Lenin Institute” (1927–1928) [1] , from 1928 assistant director, from 1930–1931 director, in 1931–1937 sector head scientific biography and publication of the works of Lenin IMEL, at the same time deputy director of the Marx-Engels-Lenin Institute under the Central Committee of the CPSU (b). In December 1937 expelled from the party. He was arrested on April 21, 1939 , in 1941 sentenced to 8 years in the camps . He died in 1944 on the ULP (separate camp site) " Cedar Shore " Intalag , Komi ASSR . Rehabilitated posthumously September 2, 1955.
