The offspring of the boyar son of Vasily Dmitrievich Avdulin , who was recruited by a local salary in 1609. The genus is recorded in the VI part of the genealogy books of the Vladimir, Kostroma and St. Petersburg provinces. Two brothers are known, the Russian commanders of the Patriotic War of 1812 , the great-grandchildren of Vasily Dmitrievich:
- Alexey Nikolaevich (1776-1838) - major general. Wife - Ekaterina Sergeevna Yakovleva (1788-1832) - the granddaughter of Savva Yakovleva .
- Mikhail Nikolaevich (? - 1832) - major general.
There are several more noble families of the Avdulins of a later origin.
Emblem Description
The shield is divided horizontally into two parts. In the upper blue part there is a golden long cross, under it there is a silver crescent with horns down. In the lower red part, crosswise, two silver curved sabers with pointed upwards with gold handles, under them a stirrup.
On the shield a noble crowned helmet. Crest : three ostrich feathers. The mark on the shield is blue, lined with silver. The Avdulins' coat of arms is included in Part 19 of the Collection of Diploma-Coats of Arms of the Russian Nobility Not Included in the Common Herbovnik, p. 1 [1] .
