Silver chlorite forms yellow crystals of rhombic syngony , space group P cca , cell parameters a = 0.607 nm , b = 0.668 nm , c = 0.613 nm , Z = 4 [1] .
It is slightly soluble in water, p PR = 3.7.
At a temperature of 105 ° C decomposes with an explosion.
