Feature
The winery palace was commissioned by the winemaker and entrepreneur Jakub Paludyay (Paludzky, Palugyay / Palúdzky). The palace was built by Ignaz Feigler Jr. in 1873 - 1879 . Until 1918, the palace continued to expand. Wine of the Chateau-Paludiai brand was produced in the palace complex (in Slovak: Paluďaiov zámok / in Russian, “Paludaya Castle” ). This name later passed to the entire palace. In 2002, the palace was reconstructed. Today it houses the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic.
