Anatoly Yakovlevich Dorogovtsev ( September 7, 1935 - April 22, 2004 ) - Soviet mathematician .

In 1964 - 1998 he worked at the Taras Shevchenko University of Kiev , where from 1973 to 1998 he was the head of the Department of Mathematical Analysis of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty. The author of 24 textbooks for university students, teachers and secondary school students, two monographs, more than 200 scientific papers. He was a member of the mathematics section of the Scientific and Methodological Council at the USSR Ministry of Higher Education.

His son Dorogovtsev Andrey Anatolyevich - Ukrainian mathematician, professor, now head of the department of theory of random processes at the Institute of Mathematics of NASU. He teaches at the KPI at the Institute of Physics and Technology .
