Vladimir Ivanovich Chernikov (October 22, 1939, the Gagarinsky state farm, Troekurovsky district , Lipetsk region ) is a Soviet and Russian scientist, a specialist in the creation of equipment for physical measurements. Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1985).

Biography
Born on October 22, 1939 at the Gagarinsky state farm of the Troekurovsky district of the Lipetsk region.
In 1963 he graduated from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute .
In 1963-1967 Engineer at the Research Institute of Instrument Engineering. From 1967 to 2011, he worked at the NIIIT (VNIIA) in positions from senior engineer to deputy chief designer - head of the scientific and production technological department of electrical and semiconductor instrumentation. Since 2004 - Scientific Secretary, since 2010 - Scientific Secretary of the STC.
Candidate of Technical Sciences. Honored Designer of the Russian Federation (2000) [1] .
Winner of the State Prize of the USSR in 1985 for personal creative contribution, active participation in the implementation of the physical measurement system as part of an automated complex.
Awards: medals “For Valiant Labor. In commemoration of the centenary of the birth of V. I. Lenin ”,“ In memory of the 850th anniversary of Moscow ”.
