In November 2008 , a battle took place between Viktor Oganov and Andre Dirrell . Oganov went forward the whole battle, trying to knock out the American, and Dirrell constantly left the enemy, and caught him on counterattacks. By the middle of the battle, the Russian had a cut over his left eye. At the beginning of the 6th round, Dirrell made a left uppercut and immediately added a left hook. The referee immediately stopped the fight. Spectators booed the referee's decision. Commentators at Showtime marveled at the actions of Ray Crown. Oganov was unhappy with the stoppage of the battle.
