Belyankin, Fedor Pavlovich

Fedor Pavlovich Belyankin ( January 5, 1892 , Nezhin - May 21, 1972 , Kiev ) - Ukrainian Soviet scientist in the field of strength of materials and engineering structures, academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (since 1948 ).

Biography

Born on January 5, 1892 in Nizhyn . Member of the CPSU since 1945 .

In 1921 - 1952 he taught at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute , since 1953 - professor at the Kiev Civil Engineering Institute .

He died on May 21, 1972 . He was buried in Kiev at the Baykovsky cemetery .

Scientific work

The main publications and scientific papers are devoted to questions of the strength of boiler and bridge steel, the study of the physicomechanical properties of Ukrainian rocks , the strength of wood and wooden structures according to their ultimate state.
