Love and cigarettes

Nick Merder is a metalworker who builds and repairs bridges. He is married to tailor Kitty Kane, a strong and kind woman who bore him three daughters. But one day, Nick makes a love affair with a red-haired beauty named Tula. Kitty is very upset by her husband’s infidelity, trying to overcome her feelings of anger and resentment. The tragic twist of fate makes Nick realize what pain he inflicted on his family. As a result, he finds out the true price of true love.
