Biography
Came from the middle class.
In 1907 he graduated from the Komissarov Technical College . He graduated from the Imperial Moscow Technical School with honors in 1914, in the chemical department with the title of process engineer .
- Work in industry
- He worked at chemical plants for three years, including at Kineshamsky as chief engineer.
- Since 1918 he was in charge of the section of mineral acids, salts and alkalis of the Chemical Industry Department of the Supreme Economic Council of the RSFSR .
- 1922-1929 headed the Department at the Association of Bondyuzhsky chemical plants;
- in 1925 - consultant in the Northern Chemical Trust;
- 1926-1927 - on a business trip to Germany, Czechoslovakia and the Netherlands as a consultant to the Supreme Economic Council;
- since 1927 he worked in Himstroy (later Giprokhim). Participated in the design and construction of chlorine production workshops:
- at the Bereznikovsky soda plant ;
- at the Chernorechensk chemical plant .
- Teaching
- Since 1917 - Assistant of the Faculty of Chemistry IMTU
- since 1924 - the head. Department of Mineral Technology MVTU , professor.
- lectured at the MINH .
Arrest and rehabilitation
In 1929 he was arrested on charges of sabotage. Sentenced to 10 years of forced labor. While imprisoned, he worked in the Kryiplan of the North ( Arkhangelsk ), then in Moscow at factory number 1. In 1931 he was released, rehabilitated and restored to his rights.

- In 1932-1937 - chief engineer of Himstroy. He took part in the acceptance of the Aktobe chemical plant .
- Teaching
- Since 1933, professor at the D. I. Mendeleev Moscow Institute of Chemical Technology ,
- In 1933-1941, the first head of the Department of Technology of Electrochemical Production (TEP). Professor Nikolai Fedorovich Yushkevich proposed his candidacy for this position to the All-Union Committee on Higher School Affairs under the USSR Council of People's Commissars [1] . In June 1938, he was approved to the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences (without defending a dissertation ) [1] .
- worked at the Institute of Chemical Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1960-1964), lectured at the Moscow Institute of Economics , during the war - at Moscow State University , at the Institute of Chemical Industry, at the Institute for Advanced Teachers.
- 1944-1949 - Dean of the Department of Technology of Inorganic Substances of the Moscow Institute of Chemical Technology named after D. I. Mendeleev [1] .
- 1964-1974 - Consulting professor at the D. I. Mendeleev Moscow Institute of Chemical Technology [1] .
He died on October 3, 1975. He was buried at 11 sites of the Vvedensky cemetery in Moscow.
