In addition to numerous articles in magazines (mainly Parisian), Calvocoressi owns a number of books, including Russian Music ( French La Musique russe ; Paris, 1907), Principles and Methods of Musical Criticism ( French Principes et méthodes de la critique musicale ; London, 1923, 1933), “ Musical Taste and How to Form It ” ( Eng. Musical Taste and How to Form It , London, 1925), “Masters of Russian Music” ( Eng. Masters of Russian Music , London, 1936, second edition 1944, together with Gerald Abraham ).
