Description
Small ants (body length about 5 mm), the main color is yellowish-brown. They are distinguished from closely related species (for example, Stigmatomma bruni ) by 12 small triangular teeth along the anterior margin of the clypeus and coarse occipital corners. The eyes are small. Antennae short, 11-segmented. Mandibles long, narrow, sting well developed. The stalk between the breast and the abdomen consists of one knotty segment ( petiol ) widely attached to the abdomen. The species was first described in 1935 by Vladimir Karavaev [2] [1] [3] . Since 2012 in the genus Stigmatomma [4] .
