Marian Štastny ( Slovak. Marián Šťastný , January 8, 1953 , Bratislava , Czechoslovakia ) - Czechoslovakian hockey player who spent five seasons in the NHL in 1981-1986. Two-time world and European champion in the national team of Czechoslovakia (1976, 1977), finalist of the Canada Cup in 1976 , participant of the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid . Czechoslovakia champion of the 1978/79 season as part of the Bratislava Slovan .

In 1981, he joined his younger brothers Peter and Anton in the Quebec Nordics team, having played four seasons with them. Thus, they became the first trio of brothers in the NHL since the Bentley brothers (Doug, Max, and Reg played together for the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1942/43 season). The last season in the NHL (1985/86) Marian spent in the team “ Toronto Maple Leafs ”, and ended his career in the club “Sierr” ( Switzerland ). Participant in the 1983 NHL All-Star Game .

Currently owns a golf club and hotel on the south coast of Quebec .
