History
Bonsekur appeared on the site of the ancient monastery of St. Catherine, in which the French kings often stayed. The monastery was badly damaged during the Hundred Years War and was finally destroyed by the end of the 16th century.

- The Notre-Dame de Bonsekur Basilica of the mid-19th century in neo-gothic style . Built on the site of a basilica of the XV century, destroyed during the Great French Revolution.
