The debut album, entitled Nordland, was released on May 1, 2000 with a print run of 1,000 copies under the Tesco Organization label. The album is dedicated to the "centuries-old tranquility of ancient graves", for the record the musician traveled to the Scandinavian countries, visiting ancient burials. The album abounds with gloomy ambient, atmospheric sound, chorale samples, ritual drums. The design used photographs taken by Apoptose in Sweden.
April 30, 2002 the album Blutopfer is released . It is based on records from the annual sacred festival of Semana Santa in the village of Calanda (Spain). Almost throughout the album, drum roll is heard.
Almost five years later, in May 2007, Apoptose released the Schattenmädchen album, dedicated to the underground of Japanese cities, the depths of the global information network, children's fears and many other things that are the source of phobias in modern society. Most of the tracks were written for various collections that were never published. Recycling the material with the help of Japanese cyber poet Kenji Shiratori, Apoptose completed this cycle and released it as a Schattenmadchen album. For the first time, voice is used on recordings - texts in English, German and Japanese.
Work on the next Bannwald album was completed in the spring of 2009, and the album was released in 2010.
