Content
Story
Three best friends from childhood make up a list of 100 steps that must be overcome before they go to high school. Within two years to the goal, they take these steps, enlisting the help of a school psychologist, overcoming the ups and downs when studying in high school.

Production
The television series was created by Scott Fellows, who is also the creator of the television series Declassified Ned's Guide to School Survival and Forward to Success . The pilot episode of “Special” was filmed in March 2014. After that, Nickelodeon ordered 26 episodes in July. Season 1 was filmed in Los Angeles at the end of 2014. In May 2015, the shooting of the first season was over.
On September 11, 2016, Lisa Arch announced on her Twitter that the series was canceled.
Broadcast
The series has been broadcast in Canada on the YTV channel since October 8, 2015, in Australia and New Zealand on the Nickelodeon channel since August 29, 2015, in Russia from September 27, 2015, in the UK from September 28, 2015.
Criticism
According to the observer of the Hollywood Reporter , the series suffers from an excess of plot lines typical of such shows, it will hardly be interesting to adult viewers, but it can become a tidbit for high school students [2] .
