Biography
He graduated from the University of Turku with a bachelor's degree.
He was director of the Latin American and Caribbean Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland . Later he worked in the Embassy of Finland in Paris and as Deputy Consul General at the Consulate General of Finland in St. Petersburg.
In December 2011, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Peru .
September 3, 2015, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Ukraine, and on September 17 he presented his credentials to the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko [1] . In 2016, he expressed an opinion on the difficulty of resolving the Russian-Ukrainian crisis [2] .
