Biography

Born into a poor peasant family. From the age of six he worked in agriculture, hiring a fist neighbor. In 1904 he graduated from the parish school. In 1906, after the death of his mother, he and his father arrived in Donbass , where he first worked at a coal depot in Yuzovka (chose a breed), from 1907 on the railway, and from 1910, a miner at mines.

From 1912 he began to participate in the trade union movement, and in 1916 he joined the party of socialist revolutionaries .

After the February Revolution of 1917 he was elected to the local Council. He organized village councils in the region, moved to the left, for which in June 1917 he was expelled from the AKP and began to actively cooperate with the Bolsheviks. Since 1918 - in the Red Army, organizer of food detachments, participant in the civil war. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1920 , worked as an instructor in the city party committee in Yuzovka.

After demobilization - at the leading economic and Soviet work. Since 1922 he was the head of the Lugansk regional commodity base, since 1924 the regional consumer cooperation, then the chairman of the board of the Lugansk District Union of Consumer Societies. He graduated from short-term courses for instructors at Wukospilki [one]

From 1928 to September 1930 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Lugansk District Council of Workers' Deputies of the Ukrainian SSR. In 1931 - 1933 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Stalin City Council of Workers' Deputies. Then he was elected chairman of the executive committee of the Makeevka city ​​council of deputies of workers of the Donetsk region.

In 1936 - 1937 - student of the Ukrainian Industrial Academy in Kharkov . Then until 1939 he worked as an engineer in the gas industry of the Donetsk (Stalin) region. In 1939 - 1941 - Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Stalin Regional Council of Workers' Deputies. In 1943 - authorized by the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks and the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR in the Kuibyshev Region of the RSFSR.

Since April 1943 - in the Soviet Army: Commissioner of operational groups for the organization of car repairs and the use of captured equipment and the organization of tank repair of the Military Council of the Voronezh Front.

In 1943 - 1946 - again deputy chairman of the executive committee of the Stalin Regional Council of Workers' Deputies.

From October 25, 1946 to December 11, 1956 - Minister of Social Security of the Ukrainian SSR. [2]

He was buried at the Baykovsky cemetery in Kiev .
