Hani Fawzi al-Mulki ( Arabic هاني فوزي الملقي ; b. October 15, 1951 in Amman ) is a Jordanian politician and diplomat, Prime Minister of Jordan from May 29, 2016 to June 4, 2018.

Biography and career
Born in the family of politician Fawzi al-Mulki , who held a number of posts in the government of Jordan in the 1940-1950s. He graduated and holds a bachelor’s degree from Cairo University in Egypt. He continued his education at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy (New York) in the USA, where he received master's and PhD degrees.
In 1994-1996, he participated in the Jordanian negotiating team and the signing of the Israeli-Jordanian peace treaty , as well as the further development of relations between the two countries.
From 1997, he held a number of ministerial posts, in particular, he was Minister of Industry and Trade (1997–1998 and 2011), combined the duties of the head of the ministries of water resources and irrigation and energy and mineral resources (1998–1999), was Minister of Foreign Affairs (2004— 2005).
In 2002-2004 and 2006-2008 he was the ambassador of Jordan in Egypt, at the same time fulfilling the duties of the permanent representative of his country in the League of Arab States . Between diplomatic cadences, he was the science adviser to King Abdullah II.
He was a member of the Senate. November 9, 2014 headed the special economic zone in Aqaba .
