The carrier's home registry and its main transit hub ( hub ) is Kunming Changshui International Airport [3] .

History

Shilin Airlines was founded in July 2004. A month later, the main carrier Hainan Airlines financed 2.93 million yuan in the interests of the new company and in order to acquire three Fairchild Dornier 328JET planes. In the future, Shanxi Airlines affiliated with the main line invested a total of 47.07 million Yuan. Boeing corporation liners and one de Havilland Canada Dash 8 aircraft were ordered for these funds [4] .

On December 23, 2005, Shilin Airlines changed its official name to Lucky Air, and on February 26 of the following year, it began operations with maintaining a regular route between Kunming and Dali cities.

Lucky Air is owned by Hainan Airlines, being part of the HNA Group conglomerate [3] .
