Kallash, Vladimir Vladimirovich

Vladimir Vladimirovich Kallash (March 1 (March 13 ), 1866 , Yakubovka farm, (the family estate of Kallashovka) is now the village of the Chernihiv region of the Chernihiv region of Ukraine - January 29, 1918 , Moscow ) - Russian and Ukrainian literary critic , folklorist , bibliographer .

He graduated from the historical and philological faculty of Moscow University in 1890. He appeared in print in 1884. The main works are devoted to the creative history, textology and bibliography of works of Russian writers of the 19th century. He worked as a teacher in Moscow educational institutions, collaborated and made friends with Mikhail Sergeyevich Grushevsky . Kallash owns many articles and publications in the magazines Russian Thought , Russian Archive , Russian Philological Bulletin , etc.

Kallash edited the first scientific work on Krylov (vols. 1–4, St. Petersburg, 1904–1905), including letters and versions of fables; Complete works of M. Yu. Lermontov (vols. 1-6, M, 1914-1915), the last volume of which includes memoirs and critical materials about the poet; Works and letters of N. V. Gogol (vols. 1–9, St. Petersburg, 1907–1909); Complete Works of A. N. Radishchev (vols. 1–2, M., 1907).

Known as the compiler of the anniversary collection "Three Centuries" (1912-1913, to the 300th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty).
