Tomotaka Tazaka ( Jap. 坂 坂 具 具 ; April 14, 1902 - October 17, 1974 ) - Japanese film director and screenwriter. The older brother of film director Katsuhiko Tadzaka (1924–2010).

Biography
From 1924 he worked at the studio “ Nikkatsu ” ( Kyoto ) as an assistant with such directors as Minoru Murat and Kenji Midzoguchi . In 1926 he made his debut as a director (" The Story of Unrest around the Pumpkin "). The success of the audience enjoyed his melodramas. In 1932 he staged the first sound picture “ Girl and Spring ”. In his paintings he explored the life of a Japanese family. He was a master of professing realism. Suffered from the atomic bomb in Hiroshima.
