Stirlitz. Attempt to escape

The musical “grew” out of several songs originally composed by Mikhail Kapustin and performed at various concerts and meetings, as “songs from an unwritten musical about the standartenführer von Stirlitz”. The plot of the play is based on the work of Julian Semenov, but is not a remake of it.

The premiere took place on May 18, 2014 in the premises of the Hyperion book club-store. This venue is the main venue for the performance ^[1]

The beginning of 1945. The provocateur Klaus comes to the Gestapo Standartenführer Stirlitz and reports that he sent a denunciation to Pastor Schlag, in connection with his anti-fascist sentiments. Stirlitz unexpectedly kills Klaus, after which he meets with Pastor Schlag and tells him about the denunciation. It turns out that Stirlitz is an introduced Soviet agent, and he needs to follow the process of separate negotiations in Germany , for which the pastor must go to Switzerland. Previously, the pastor refused to do this, but now, in connection with the denunciation, he is forced to go in order to avoid arrest. The pastor realizes that the visit of the provocateur was arranged by Stirlitz, but agrees to go.
Stirlitz is experiencing heartbreaking: on the one hand, he is a high-ranking person in the structure of the RSHA , on the other - a man forced to give up moral principles in order to fulfill his tasks.
Pastor Schlag safely ends up in Switzerland, and meanwhile, radio operators Stirlitz, Erwin and Kat fall under the bombing of Berlin by the Allies. Erwin dies, and Kat is unconsciously taken to the Gestapo special unit, where she gives birth to twins. After a while, Kat and the children manage to escape with the help of Herman's guard.
Stirlitz was left without communication, so he was forced to send Professor Pleischner with encodings to Switzerland. The professor, having forgotten about the conspiracy, is ambushed and forced to commit suicide in order not to reveal Stirlitz.
In the meantime, it turns out that the Gestapo chief Müller unpleasantly knows a lot about Stirlitz's secret affairs and may have already revealed it.
Stirlitz, after finding a half-mad Kat, takes her to Switzerland, where he meets with Pastor Schlag. The barrier tells Stirlitz everything that was possible to learn about separate negotiations. Stirlitz sends a report via Swiss channels to the Center. In response, they send him a personal liaison who tells him a new task - to return to Germany and continue his work. That is, in fact, to death, since Stirlitz has already been revealed.
