Biography

He lived all his life in the city of Nadlak, where until 1989 he taught physics and chemistry. Since 1974, he led the Slovak literary circle in Nadlak. In post-socialist Romania, he founded the first Slovak magazine Naše snahy (1990), for some time headed the Democratic Union of Slovaks and Czechs in Romania, in 1993-1996 He was the chairman of the Association of Slovak Writers, Artists and Cultural Figures Abroad, and was also a member of the leadership of the World Slovaks Society Abroad.
