Mirkina, Anna

From the first class, at the age of seven, she began to practice ballroom dancing . After repatriating to Israel (at age 14), she decided to study taekwondo at a Hebrew school (ulpan). After a month of training, Mirkin was placed in a small competition, in which she won first place. Multiple taekwondo champion of Israel, performed in the weight category up to 53 kilograms. Also Anna Mirkina became a fashion model.

Participated in 44 registered fights, of which 22 won. In 2007, gold at the A-Class Championship in Austria . In 2008, gold at the A-Class Championships in Trelleborg, Sweden. In April 2008, she won the bronze of the European Championship in Rome (weight category up to 51 kg) ^[4] . In November 2008, she won the silver of the French Taekwondo Championship (weight category up to 49 kg) ^[5] . In December 2008, she won the bronze of the European Cup in Moscow (in the category up to 51 kg) ^[6] . In February 2009, she took fifth place in the US Open (weight category up to 55 kg) ^[7] . In December 2009, she became the Israeli champion in taekwondo (weight category up to 49 kg) ^[8] . In 2010, she again became the champion of Israel in taekwondo, defeating Sapir Tsabari (weight category up to 53 kg) ^[3] .

Died June 4, 2016 from a heart attack. ^[9]
