Biography
- Since 1950, he studied at the Rostov-on-Don children's music school in the violin class [1] .
- 1962 - entered the composer department of the Moscow Conservatory - class S.A. Balasanyan ,
- 1964 - transferred to Leningrad .
- 1969 graduated from the Leningrad Conservatory in (conducting class in I. A. Musin).
- In 1967, as a student, he was accepted as the second conductor in the symphony orchestra of the Committee on Radio and Television of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [2] .
- In 1971–73 chief conductor of the Karelian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra .
- Since 1973 - conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Ukrainian SSR .
- In 1977, interned with Karl Esterreicher and Otmar Suitner at the Vienna Academy of Music and Drama.
- from 1977 to 1987 - chief conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Ukrainian SSR , which was then led by Stepan Turchak . With the team he was on tour in Berlin , Bratislava, Dusseldorf , Krakow , Leningrad , Moscow , Nuremberg , Sofia.
He performed with the state chapel of Berlin in the Schauspielhaus hall, collaborated with the orchestras of Bratislava , Brno , Liverpool , Prague .
In 1990-1991 he worked at the Istanbul State Opera.
Since 1991 - Permanent Conductor of the State Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestra in Moscow .
In 1993, he staged the ballet “Romeo and Juliet” by S. Prokofiev in Athens, in the same year he made his debut in London , performing at the Barbican Center with the English Chamber Orchestra .
He worked with the BBC orchestra. Arturo Toscanini in Parma .
- In 1996-2000, he directed the Yekaterinburg Chamber Orchestra B-A-S-N.
- He participated in the festival in Belfast with the Ulster Orchestra ;
- conducted by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in London Albert Hall .
In 2002, he performed with the Brabant Orchestra in the Amsterdam Concertgebau Hall and in Eindhoven .
In 2006, he took part in the festival dedicated to the memory of Nathan Rakhlin in Kazan .
In 2008, he again began to collaborate with Ukrainian musicians, took part in the festival “Kiev Music Fest” , at the festival in Lviv , performed in Odessa .
Since 2010, he was the main guest conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine , soloists performed with him:
- Valery Sokolov ,
- Dmitry Tkachenko ( violin ),
- Susanna Chakhoyan,
- Taras Shtonda .
In 2013, he conducted the concert “ Miroslav Skorik Music Days” in Kiev , a concert for flute and orchestra by composer Evgeni Stankovich (soloist Oleg Sheremet) [3] .
April 10, 2015, on the day of the liberation of Odessa from the Nazi invaders, in the Great Hall of the Philharmonic under the direction of F.I. Glushchenko performed Concert No. 3 for the Golosinnya orchestra of Ivan Karabits, Concert No. 2 for cello and orchestra by Dmitry Shostakovich, Symphony No. 4 of Alexander Glazunov [4] .
