She began her career at the age of 10, participating in various theatrical productions in Derby . Studied at Derby High School [2] .
She played the role of the young girl Millie Patel in the series β My Life Like a Parrot β and starred in a cameo role in the film β This is England β. In 2008, at the age of 15, she played the role of Ellen in the Nickelodeon movie, based on the teenage novels Angus, Thongs and a Full Kiss and This is normal, and I really wear big pantolones [3] [4] .
