Filippo Calendario ( Italian. Calendario ; the first years of the XIV century - 1355 ) - Venetian architect and sculptor , the alleged builder of the Doge's Palace in Venice .

In fact, they only executed the facade of this palace, which overlooks the Embankment of the Slaves, and the first six arches to the square. Calendario received the post of builder of the palace in 1340 and enjoyed great prestige. Confused in the conspiracy of Marino Falieri , Calendario was executed. He and conspiracy leader Bertuccio Israelello were hung with gags in their mouths on the balcony of the Palace, which brought fame to Calendario.
