Kevin Fikentscher ( fr. Kevin Fickentscher , born July 6, 1988 , Nyon , Switzerland ) is a Swiss soccer player , goalkeeper of the Sion football club. Previously represented the youth team of Switzerland .

Career

Born in Nyon. He started playing football at the local Roll club. In 2000 he transferred to the youth team of Lausanne , then in 2004 he transferred to the Bremen academy Werder Bremen . In the 2007/08 season, he was involved in the Werder II farm club, for which he played two matches. Fikentscher failed to break into the first composition of the “Bremen”. Because of this, Fikentscher had to return to Switzerland and sign a contract with the La Chaux-de-Fonds club. Spent one season at the club, played 27 matches. In 2009, Fikentscher moved to Sion , for which he played only a few matches and, again, he failed to break into the main team, losing the competition to Andris Vanin . For four seasons, Fikentscher played mainly for the Sion II farm reserve club. In the summer of 2013, Fikentscher on a rental basis moved to Lausanne to receive gaming practice for a period of two years ^[1] ^[2] . At the end of the lease, he returned to Sion in 2015.
