Biography
Born November 18, 1923 in the village of Lopatino, Tarussky district, Kaluga province, in a peasant family.
Member of the Great Patriotic War [1] , radio operator, was awarded orders and medals for military merits.
After leaving the army he graduated in absentia from Moscow State University . He worked as the first secretary of the Tarussky district committee of the Komsomol, the head of the department of the regional newspaper "Young Leninist", the editor of one of the regional newspapers of the Kaluga region, the senior editor of the Prioksky book publishing house .
The first verses were published in 1947 in the newspaper of the Southern Group of Forces “Soviet Warrior”.
The first book of poetry was published in 1958. The second "Revelation" - in 1962. They were followed by collections of "Time and Heart", "Sparkle", "Tarussky pier" and others.
The collection of poems and poems “Noon” was published in 1973 by the Moscow publishing house “Sovremennik”, and the book “Over the Eternal River” (1983) was published there.
He was the executive secretary of the Kaluga Regional Organization of the Writers Union.
He died in August 1993 in Kaluga.
