Bragado Darman, Max

Max Bragado-Darman ( born 1945 , Madrid ) - Spanish conductor.

Studied in Spain and the USA, initially as a pianist. He perfected the mastery of the conductor under the direction of George Sell and Igor Markevich . The most striking pages of the Bragado track record are the leadership of the Castile and Leon Symphony Orchestra ( 1991 - 2000 ) and the Louisville Orchestra ( 1995 - 1998 ). In 2004 , Bragado took over as music director of the Monterey Symphony Orchestra .

Among the notable works of Bragado is the recording of the full body of Alberto Hinaster’s works for cello and orchestra with the composer's wife, cellist Aurora Natola-Hinaster in the solo part.
