Biography
Born September 15, 1918 in a peasant family in the village of Petrovtsi, Mirgorod county, Poltava region. He graduated from elementary school in his native village. Since 1937 he worked as an accountant on the collective farm "Ukraine" of the Mirgorod region.
In 1939 he was drafted into the Red Army for military service. He participated in the Soviet-Finnish war and later as a cryptographer in the Great Patriotic War as part of the 8th department of the headquarters of the 38th army on the Western , Bryansk and Voronezh fronts.
After demobilization in 1947 he continued to work on the collective farm "Ukraine". Restored the destroyed economy. In 1948 he was elected chairman of the collective farm, which he led for the next 25 years until his death. In 1955 he graduated from the school in Poltava for the training of leading cadres of collective farms and state farms, specializing in agronomist. In 1971, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor "for outstanding successes achieved in the development of agricultural production and the implementation of the five-year plan for the state to sell agricultural and livestock products."
He was elected a delegate to the XXIV Congress of the CPSU and a deputy of the Poltava Regional Council of People's Deputies.
He died in 1973 in the village of Petrovtsy, Mirgorod region.
