Born in April 1909 in the town of Ladyzhyn Podolsk province of the Russian Empire (now the city of Vinnytsia region ) in the family of a paramedic. Ukrainian .

He served as the political leader of the machine-gun company of the 32nd machine-gun battalion of the 82nd fortified area of ​​the South-Western Front . He was seriously injured in August 1941. After treatment, he served as an agitator of the 354th reserve rifle regiment of the 4th reserve rifle division.

In 1945 - 1950 - the head of the district department of national education; 2nd Secretary of the Gaivoron District Committee of the Communist Party (Bolshevik) of the Odessa Region; 1st Secretary of the Belyaevsky District Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of the Odessa region.

In October 1950 - 1952 - Secretary of the Odessa Regional Committee of the CP (b) U.

In August 1952 - November 1953 - Deputy Head of the Odessa Regional Department of Public Education.

In November 1953 - July 1954 - 1st Secretary of the Frunzensky District Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine, Odessa Region.

In July 1954 - February 1958 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Odessa Regional Council of Workers' Deputies.

January 11, 1958 - February 8, 1961 - 1st Secretary of the Odessa Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.

Since 1961 - Director of the Odessa Soviet Party School.

Then - in retirement. He died in April 1975.

Awards

He was awarded the Order of Lenin , a diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR. For participation in the Second World War, he was awarded a number of medals , including "For Courage" (November 6, 1945) and "For the Defense of Odessa" (December 20, 1943).
