Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR 5th convocation. Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR 3-4th convocations. Member of the illegal Central Committee of the Communist Party (Bolshevik) in October 1942 - June 1943. Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine in 1956 - 1960. Candidate for a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine in 1960 - 1961.

Biography
Born on February 13 (26), 1911 in the village of Yurasovka in a peasant family. He graduated from the seven-year labor school.
In 1927 - 1929 - working Khutor-Mikhailovsky refinery (sugar) plant.
Since 1929 - Secretary of the Village Council.
In 1932 - 1934 - served in the Navy.
In 1934 - 1938 - Secretary of the Komsomol Committee of the Khutor-Mikhailovsky Refinery, Secretary of the Yampolsky District Committee of the LKSMU of the Chernihiv region.
Since 1938 - Prosecutor of Chervonny district of Sumy region.
Member of the CPSU (b) since 1939 .
In 1941 - 1st Secretary of the Red District Committee KP (b) U of Sumy region. In 1941 - 1942 - 1st Secretary of the Red Underground District Committee KP (b) U. Member of the Great Patriotic War.
In June - October 1942 - Commissioner of the Sumy Partisan Connection under the command of Saburov. In October 1942 - September 1943 - 1st Secretary of the Sumy Underground Regional Committee of the KP (b) U, Chief of Staff to lead the partisan movement in the Sumy region.
In September 1943 - 1944 - the 3rd secretary of the Sumy Regional Committee of the KP (b) U. In 1944 - 1945 - 2nd Secretary of the Sumy Regional Committee of the CP (b) U.
In 1945 - 1948 - a student of the Higher Party School of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b).
In 1948 - February 1954 - 2nd Secretary of the Zhytomyr Regional Committee of the KP (b) U.
In February 1954 - July 1955 - 2nd Secretary of the Chernigov Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
In July 1955 - September 1959 - 1st Secretary of the Chernigov Regional Committee of the Communist Party.
In September 1959 - February 1961 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Chernihiv Regional Council of Workers' Deputies.
From 1961 - on the economic work in Kiev. Buried at Baikovo cemetery.
