Biography

Born on October 2, 1924 in Sevastopol . The son of the commander of the Border Troops of the GPU of the USSR Viktor Mikhailovich Bochkov , future Lieutenant General and Prosecutor of the USSR (1940-1943).

Since 1942 in the Red Army . In 1943 he graduated from the Vyaznikov Military Aviation Pilot School. Since September 17, 1943 - on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War . From September 1943 - pilot of the 28th Air Defense Fighter Aviation Regiment , from January 1944 - pilot of the 445th Air Defense Fighter Aviation Regiment ( 1st Air Defense Air Fighter Army , Western Front of Air Defense ). Then - the senior pilot of the 148th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment for Special Purpose of the 148th Fighter Aviation Air Defense Division of the Western Air Defense Front . As part of the regiment in 1945, performed combat missions to cover the air forces of the 1st Belorussian Front . During the time of participation in the war, he completed 10 sorties and participated in one air battle on April 25, 1945. In this battle, Junior Lieutenant B.V. Bochkov shot down 1 German aircraft in person and 1 in a pair [1] .

In 1950 he graduated from the Air Force Academy . Member of the Korean War of 1950-1953 , fought in 1950-1951 as a deputy commander of the 139th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment for the Air Rifle Service, major. Shot down 2 US Air Force fighters [2] .

Then he served in the Air Defense Forces as an assistant commander of the 139th Fighter Aviation Regiment for air battle tactics, from August 1956 to 1958 he commanded the 28th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment in the Moscow Air Defense District . From 1958 to 1962 - Deputy Commander of the Guards Fighter Air Division for flight training.

In 1962 he graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the USSR . In July 1962 - September 1963 - deputy commander, and in September 1963 - June 1965 - commander of the Air Defense Division of the Moscow Air Defense District of the Air Defense Forces of the country . In June 1965 - August 1969 - commander of the 16th Air Defense Corps ( Gorky ). In August 1969 - September 1972 - First Deputy Commander, and in September 1972 - December 1975 - Commander of the 2nd Separate Air Defense Army ( Minsk ). In December 1975 - April 1980 - commander of the Moscow Air Defense District . In 1980 - 1987 - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Air Defense Forces in universities. Since 1987 - retired.

He was a member of the CPSU (since 1950). Member of the Central Audit Commission of the CPSU (1976-1981) [3] . Member of the Supreme Council of the USSR of the 10th convocation (1979-1984).

He was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery in Moscow [4] .
