Military equipment - the totality of all technical means that are used to cause damage to the enemy during the battle [1] . It is part of military equipment , includes weapons and their carriers [2] .
Military equipment includes tanks , armored personnel carriers , infantry fighting vehicles , warships, artillery , ammunition , a missile system , aircraft, and the like.

History
The appearance of military equipment dates back to ancient times. Its further development was associated with the use in metals of metals , gunpowder , a steam engine , an internal combustion engine, and other achievements of science, technology, and machine production. A particularly rapid increase in the pace of development and operation of military equipment occurred at the end of the 19th and 1st half of the 20th century, mainly in connection with the first and second world wars.
The rapid development of military equipment is one of the decisive conditions determining the level of combat capability of modern armies. Military equipment is the main material component of the military power of states.
