Scientific contribution
- Berger-Kazhdan comparison theorem
- The problem of prescribed scalar curvature
- Together with Deturk , he reproved the result obtained earlier by Shefel that the harmonic coordinates give an atlas of the highest degree of smoothness for a given Riemannian manifold . [2] [3]
Recognition
In 1999 he was awarded the Prize . [four]
