Biography
Alexander Sergeevich Parfenyuk, May 16, 1947 , Konstantinovka, Donetsk region, Ukraine . Parents - school teachers: Sergey Fedorovich - on geography, astronomy, physics; Maria Ivanovna - on botany and biology. He also has a brother born in 1950. Has 4 grandchildren.
After graduating from the Konstantinovsky Industrial Technical School in 1966 with a degree in Mechanical Technician, he entered the Ukrainian Correspondence Polytechnic Institute . In 1969 - 1972 he continued his studies at the Donetsk Polytechnic Institute . After graduation he received a diploma in mechanical engineering with a degree in Machinery and Apparatus of Chemical Production and was left to work as an engineer in a research unit.
Since 1974 he taught at the Donetsk Polytechnic College. In 1976, he was elected by competition as a senior lecturer in the department "Machines and Apparatus of Chemical Production". In 1979 he entered the postgraduate school of the Moscow Institute of Chemical Engineering, in 1981 he defended his thesis and returned to teaching at Donetsk Polytechnic Institute. In 1988 he was awarded the title of associate professor .
From 1982 to 2004 he led more than 20 research and design work. Since 2001 , Professor of the Department "Machines and Apparatus of Chemical Production". 2004 , Dean of the Faculty of Ecology and Chemical Technology DonNTU.
In 2010 he defended his doctoral thesis.
In February 2011 , he was elected the head of the department "Equipment of processing technological complexes" of DonNTU.
Scientific Activities
His research interests include the reliability and efficiency of chemical process equipment, the mechanics of discrete materials, the technique and technology of solid waste processing.
A. S. Parfenyuk is the author of more than 300 scientific and technical works, including 72 copyright certificates and patents. He prepared 8 candidates of technical sciences and more than 50 masters.
