Growbox ( eng. Grow box - a box for growing) - equipment for growing plants that allows you to control the microclimate and maintain favorable environmental conditions ( soil or hydroponic ). As a rule, the grow box is equipped with a lighting system ( compact fluorescent lamps , discharge lamps or LED lamps ), a ventilation system, an air filtration system, a humidification system and a carbon dioxide saturation system.
There are several types of growboxes:
Standard growbox . The dimensions of this grow box are not limited, but usually tend to the optimal value - 1000x1000x2000 mm. Such dimensions make it easy to place all the necessary equipment for a successful groving. In a spacious box, it is convenient to work with plants (remove excess foliage, trim, bend, form plants correctly), it is easier to maintain the climate necessary for plants and to fight pests and diseases. These sizes allow you to easily accommodate a pair of adult regular photoperiodic plants that will not interfere with each other, especially at the stage of active growth. Or a few autoflowering.
Growpact is a small version of the growbox. Due to the overall features, it does not take up much space and is usually built into furniture. A great solution for small autoflowering plants.
Stealth is the most complex and most skillful type of growbox. Hidden and inconspicuous, at the same time possessing all the advantages of a compact growbox, traditionally possessing light and sound insulation. In Russia, two types of stealth are popular: in a computer case and in an acoustic speaker.
