History
The combine of production enterprises of the “Benzinoprovodstroy” trust was established in 1949 in the Novosineglazovsky village of the Chelyabinsk region [1] .
The plant produced simple metal structures and reinforced concrete products for the national economic construction projects of the USSR. The first construction site that he provided with manufactured materials was the laying of the Ufa-Chelyabinsk-Novosibirsk gas pipeline.
In the 1960s, large-scale construction of gas and oil pipelines began in the USSR . The Trubodetal plant has mastered the production of fittings to provide pipe lines, including the Bukhara-Ural gas pipeline [2] .
Over the years, Trubodetal OJSC has taken part in the construction of the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipelines ; Yamal-Europe; Baltic Pipeline System.
1974 - The plant is the only enterprise in the country to produce large diameter fittings. The Council of Ministers of the USSR honors the factory of the rolling Red Banner for the early implementation of the national economic plan.
1990 - The most difficult period not only for the country, but also for its industry, including oil and gas. In connection with the cessation of pipeline construction, the Trubodetal plant begins to master the production of insulation roofing panels.
1994 - At the time of privatization, Trubodetal was on the verge of bankruptcy. With the change of management since 1994, Trubodetal begins to attract investors. At the plant, reconstruction begins, the introduction of advanced technologies, new products are mastered. Trubodetal software will be transformed into Trubodetal OJSC.
Currently, the company manufactures products for various pipelines for main and technological pipelines and oil products pipelines, steel products of increased corrosion resistance and cold resistance for the construction of gas and oil fields (totaling more than 140 sizes) [3] .
Since 2005, the company is one of the subsidiaries of the United Metallurgical Company [4] .
