The composition of the Kriushansky rural settlement is included, previously it was the administrative center of the Martynovsky rural settlement .

The village is located on the Martyn River, in the channel of which ponds are arranged; stretched along the river and ponds.

History
The emergence of the village dates back to the middle of the 18th century, when the settlement began between the Bityug and Ikorets rivers. By decree of Peter I , peasants belonging to the tsar from the northern Russian districts of Moscow, Kostroma, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Ryazan and others were forcibly resettled here. The village was part of the Bityutsky palace volost. In 1779 the volost was transformed into Bobrovsky uyezd, which existed until 1928.
In 1859, there were 174 courtyards in the village, in which 1,462 people lived. In 1900, the village had 340 yards in which 2049 people lived, three public buildings, a zemstvo school, 14 windmills, two forges, an oil mill, a grinder, a tavern, five trading shops, two fairs, three bazaars. In 1906, there were 370 courtyards in the village, in which 1275 men and 1205 women lived, 60 children studied at the Zemstvo school .
