Vladimir Vasilievich Strelko (born 1937 , Lubech , Chernihiv region ) - Ukrainian scientist in the field of physical chemistry and technology of dispersed inorganic and carbon materials, academician of the NAS of Ukraine , honored worker of science and technology of Ukraine , laureate of the USSR State Prize ; Director of the Institute of Sorption and Problems of Endoecology of NASU.

Biography
- In 1954-1959 studied at the Faculty of Chemistry of Kiev State University. T. G. Shevchenko .
- In 1959-1962 - In graduate school of the Institute of Physical Chemistry. L. V. Pisarzhevsky Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR.
- In 1963 he defended his thesis (specialty: physical chemistry)
- In 1965-1979 - Junior, senior researcher at the Institute of Physical Chemistry. L. V. Pisarzhevsky Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR
- In 1974 he defended his doctoral dissertation (specialty: colloidal chemistry)
- In 1979-1991 by the decision of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR with a group of employees, it was transferred to the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, where he headed the department of sorption and fine inorganic synthesis, later the head of the department
- In 1983 he received the title of professor of physical and colloid chemistry
- In 1988, he was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR.
- In 1991 - Director of the Institute of Sorption and Problems of Endoecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (ISPE), which he created
- In 1995, elected a full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
Among the students of Volodymyr Strelko there are 3 doctors of sciences, 28 candidates of sciences, 2 of them were elected to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Work on targeted research councils
In the 1970-1980s. Strelko was a member of the Scientific Council under the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR on environmental protection, deputy chairman of the scientific councils of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR “Hemosorption” and “Sorption methods of detoxification of the body”, a member of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR on adsorption, head of the All-Union Program of the State Committee on Science and Technology for the Development of Efferent Methods therapy. Now he is the deputy academician-secretary of the Chemistry Department of the NAS of Ukraine.
