Rame ( Hebrew ראמה , Arabic. الرامة ) is a local council in the Northern District of Israel . Received the status of a local council in 1954.

It is located approximately 110 km northeast of Tel Aviv and 38 km northeast of the city of Haifa , at an altitude of 420 m above sea level. The area of the council is 6.118 km² [1] .
Population
According to the Central Bureau of Statistics of Israel , the population at the beginning of 2018 was 7,580 people [2] .
According to 2005 data, 51.2% of the population were Christian Arabs ; 30.4% of the population are Druze and 18.3% of the population are Muslim Arabs [1] .
