Gennady Petrovich Vitkovsky ( May 3, 1958 , Nalchik ) - Soviet footballer, defensive midfielder, football coach, honored veteran of the “Wings of the Soviets”.

Career
Pupil of the Youth Sports School No. 5 ( Nalchik ), the first coaches Batalin and Chistokhvalov . From 1976 to 1980 he played for Spartak from Nalchik, spent 140 matches in the national championships , and entered the field against CSKA Moscow in the 1979 USSR Cup . He wanted to earn an apartment and moved to the Gorky Volga because in Nalchik they deceived him with an apartment [1] . In Gorky, the city leadership lost interest in the team (since 1984 the club ceased to participate in the championship of the USSR), and in 1982 Vitkovsky moved to Kuibyshev “Wings of the Soviets” , where he became one of the leaders of the team. Over four seasons he played 92 matches in the national championships. In 1984, together with Vyacheslav Sidorov, he moved to the Torpedo Togliatti, but in 1986 returned to Kuibyshev. In 1989-1990 he played in the club "Dawn" , in 1994 he worked in an administrative position. After the end of his career, the player stayed in Kuibyshev , worked as a football coach.
