Content
Geography
The village is located 4 km southeast of the city and the Kobrin station, 47 km east of Brest , at the intersection of the M1 Brest- Minsk and P127 Kobrin- Divin highways [2] .
In 2012, the area of the settlement amounted to 1.29 km² (129 ha [3] ).
History
The village has been known since 1563 as the village of Borisovichi, where the inhabitants of Borisov lived [2] . At different times, the population was [2] :
- 1999: 179 households, 460 people;
- 2005: 187 households, 492 people;
- 2009 [4] : 432 people
- 2016 [1] : 201 households, 546 people.
