Biography
Born in 1937 in Kramatorsk . In 1957 he completed his studies at the Druzhkovsky Engineering College with a degree in Mining Electromechanics. He worked in the mines of the Donetsk region in the period 1957 - 1961 as a mining foreman, in 1961 - 1966 as a coal processor engineer and foreman of a through integrated brigade. Since 1961, he took part in the First All-Union Conference of Brigades and Drummers of Communist Labor.
In the period 1961 - 1966 he studied in absentia at the Moscow Mining Institute (now the Mining Institute NUST “MISiS” ), specializing in “Development of Mineral Deposits”. He worked in the city of Dzerzhinsk, Donetsk region, as the head of the site, later as deputy chief engineer of the mine named after F. Dzerzhinsky. In 1964, as part of a group of authors of inventions and the introduction of new types of combines (UKR, Temp, Komsomolets), he was awarded the Lenin Prize on steep fall strata. In 1966 he was awarded the Order of Lenin for the successful completion of the tasks of the "seven-year plan."
In the period from 1966 to 1974. He was a member of the technological group to combat sudden emissions of coal and gas from the Artemugol Trust, in 1974-1977 he was the director of the Severnaya mine, and from 1977-1979 he was the chief engineer of the Anadyrskaya mine of the Severovostokugol plant.
In 1979, he began working as an assistant in the Department of Labor Protection at the Donetsk Polytechnic Institute , and subsequently received the title of Associate Professor. In the period 1986-1994 he was dean of the Faculty of Mining at the DPI . Since 1994, he was appointed Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Rector of the Mining Institute.
The author of 63 scientific publications, as well as 19 inventions. Prepared 4 candidates of sciences .
